Lexar JumpDrive P20 USB 3.0 Flash Drive Review

Storage/Other by stefan @ 2015-10-08

Lexar has prepared the JumpDrive P20 USB 3.0 flash drive for competing with the high-end offerings from other brands and we can say that we were impressed by its performances in the both read and write departments. The unit we have tested is not the fastest since much higher write speeds are available with the 64GB and 128GB models; while the 32GB model can be found online for just about 24 Euros, the 64GB variant can be picked up for about 55 Euros while the top-of-the-line 128GB can be had for 91 Euros.

Packaging, A Closer Look

In this article we will be happy to take a look at another USB 3.0 flash drive from Lexar, which is advertised as being quite speedy. The product is shipped inside a transparent plastic enclosure from which we can see how the drive looks like, along with the speed ratings and drive capacity; while we have received the 32GB version, this one is also available with 64GB and 128GB capacities:

On the back side of the packaging, we will be able to see a short product description in multiple languages:

Besides the actual product, we will also receive a lanyard, which is located inside a plastic re-sealable bag:

JumpDrive P20 is pretty sturdy, by incorporating a metallic alloy base with a high-gloss black finish top; the product does not need a cover since the USB connector is retractable:

In the back we will find the openings for fitting the supplied lanyard or we can also attach it to our keychain:

With the slider located in the middle we can easily protect the USB port from damages:
