Lexar JumpDrive M20 Mobile USB 3.0 Flash Drive Review

Storage/Other by stefan @ 2015-06-15

The last USB 3.0 OTG flash drives we have tested were sporting a smaller footprint and also needed extra protective covers for avoiding damages to their connectors. In this case, the chassis is indeed bigger but no extra accessories are needed, while we can switch from one interface to another just by working with the slider.

Conclusive Thoughts

The last USB 3.0 OTG flash drives we have tested were sporting a smaller footprint and also needed extra protective covers for avoiding damages to their connectors. In this case, the chassis is indeed bigger but no extra accessories are needed, while we can switch from one interface to another just by working with the slider.

Regarding the product performances, we are dealing with decent read speeds and mediocre writes when having the M20 connected to our PC, but these are more than enough for the OTG interface which is limited to USB 2.0 speeds.

For an OTG product, we find that the M20 32GB has a fair price of 12.6 Euros, while the smaller, 16GB version can be found online for just 9 Euros.
