Lexar JumpDrive M20 Mobile USB 3.0 Flash Drive Review

Storage/Other by stefan @ 2015-06-15

The last USB 3.0 OTG flash drives we have tested were sporting a smaller footprint and also needed extra protective covers for avoiding damages to their connectors. In this case, the chassis is indeed bigger but no extra accessories are needed, while we can switch from one interface to another just by working with the slider.

Packaging, A Closer Look

Here we have another Lexar USB 3.0 Flash Drive product in our labs, this time the M20 mobile, which also sports OTG features. The retail packaging is really simple and shows us on the top side the total storage capacity, rated speeds and some other useful information:

On the back side we can check some words related to warranty, in multiple languages:

As the previous Lexar products, we are dealing with an overall professional look of the M20 chassis and its design does not imply the use of an extra port cover. By adjusting the blue slider, we can make accessible the OTG connector, the USB 3.0 connector or have both connectors protected at the same time. On the top side of the unit we have the total capacity written along with the manufacturer logo:

Near the OTG connector we also have a small area where we can attach a lanyard of our choice (not included inside the original packaging):

On the back side we will be able to check out some code names:

Here is also a shot with the USB 3.0 connector ready for use:
