Func MS-2 Gaming Mouse Review

Others/Mice & Keyboards by stefan @ 2014-11-24

The Func MS-2 mouse has given us a good impression as the MS-3 version before it and is able to deliver a good gaming experience for mainstream gamers and seems to be better suited for fingertip grip users with smaller hands. The soft-touch coating offers a good grip which is important during long gaming sessions while the extra buttons are carefully placed for easy accessibility.

Packaging, A Closer Look

In this article we will be able to take a look at the newest mouse from Func, the MS-2 which embraces the nice features of the MS-3 while adopting a more regular shape and using an optical sensor in the place of the original laser one. The cardboard box sports the usual Func theme, which has an overall and professional look:

The top cover opens up like a book in order to reveal the MS-2 along with an in-depth product description:

The main product components can be also checked out on the back side:

After carefully unsealing the box, we will be able to check out the Product Manual along with the MS-2 Settings Software disk:

As we have seen with the MS-3, the newer MS-2 sports an all-black color scheme with a high quality rubberized paint finish, which offers a good grip and feel; it measures 70 x 130 x 43,, and weights about 145grams. On the top we can see the DPI switcher buttons, near the scroll wheel:

MS-2 features an ergonomic shape and Func mentions that it will be comfortable to hold in most grip types; we found though that claw grip and fingertip grip would work best:
