The Lexar High-Performance microSDHC UHS-I 633x 32GB card is fairly priced and offers very good read/write performances for storing multimedia content at higher data rates. Lexar is also supplying a very good accessory with it almost for free (the USB 3.0 card reader) which helps transferring data at the maximum supported speeds.
Lexar were kind and offered us one of their latest microSDHC cards for testing, sporting the UHS-1 technology and having a total capacity of 32GB. The card does not come alone, but with a tiny USB 3.0 reader which is really, really handy. Both products are packed inside a slim cardboard case:
On the back side of the packaging, we will be able to see a small product description, in multiple languages:
Let’s take a look at the tiny microSDHC card reader; this one sports a white/blue color scheme, along with the Lexar logo on top. A small hole is provided in the back for inserting a lanyard:
In the front we have the blue USB 3.0 port:
On the back side of the reader, we have the product code name printed:
Coming back at the main product, the Lexar 633x 32GB microSDHC UHS-1 card, we will see that the manufacturer has color coded its body with a combination of black and blue:
The back side reveals the golden contacts along with several identification numbers:
In just a second we can mount the card inside the reader and we are ready for testing:
