SteelSeries Siberia Elite Gaming Headset Review

Audio/Others by stefan @ 2014-02-21

The User Guide is accompanied by a branded SteelSeries logo sticker:

Inside the Guide we will find the necessary instructions regarding how to operate the headset and which cables to use each time:

The dedicated USB sound card is quite compact and on its body SteelSeries has placed a warning sticker which tells us to download the necessary software:

Besides the gold-plated port where Siberia Elite connects, we also have available two additional jacks, one for headphones and one for the microphone, allowing analog connectivity for products from other brands or even the Siberia itself (but we will lose the nice LED lighting functionality this way):

The USB port is branded as we have seen on other mice and keyboards from them:

SteelSeries also supplies an extension cable with two endings: one which has two separate jacks for MIC and speakers (for connecting to sound cards) and the other one has the two integrated (usually suitable for smartphones and tablets):

Speaking of the cables, these have a very interesting flat design with a rubberized finish which is pleasant to the touch:
