SteelSeries Siberia Elite Gaming Headset Review

The latest Siberia Elite high-end headset from SteelSeries has picked up some of the elements of the V2 series and improved quite a bit. Distinctive elements could be considered the large and comfortable ear cup padding, the funky lighting but also the dedicated sound card which works hand-in-hand with the Engine 3 software.

Packaging, A Closer Look Part I

After months of waiting we have finally received the awesome SteelSeries Siberia Elite headset in our labs in order to check it out. The shipping box is quite large in order to accommodate both the headset and its bundle. On the front we will be able to see a photo of the product in operation, but here the manufacturer has also listed the compatible operating systems:

 

 

 

 

On the box sides we are reminded of the LED lights customization and also of the comfortable suspension design, which was also featured with the previous revision:

 

 

 

 

On the back side of the box SteelSeries has listed the main product highlights along with the box contents:

 

 

 

The bottom has the serial number listed along with the technical specifications:

 

 

 

After removing the top packaging layer, we will discover the box with a large SteelSeries logo in the middle:

 

 

 

The headphones are sitting comfortable inside thanks to the specially designed plastic mold:
