The drive gets fixed into the adapter with lateral screws and we can also see some yellow spacers on the laterals:
The plastic USB enclosure for the optical drive does have a small power LED on top:
On the lateral side we can see a sliding button, which allows us to lock the drive into place after it has been inserted:
On the bottom we have 4 small feet, a secondary sliding button for ejecting the drive after it has been inserted and a sticker with the product code name and power rating:
On the back we won’t see the regular Mini-B USB port, but a Type A:
To fill the empty space where the optical drive used to be, we will also get a fake drive bay cover:
