The KingFast Ultra-Cache solution is composed from a SATA2 SSD and special software which will boost our storage system performances after the caching procedure has been completed. What is nice about this solution is that we do not have to perform a Windows system reinstallation to make it work.
KingFast have just released their HDD caching solution, comprised from an Ultra-Cache SSD and a special software from Fnet; the K25 variant presents itself in a 2.5’’ format and is shipped in a plastic enclosure:
The cache SSD is also wrapped for additional protection inside an anti-static bag:
The top side of the SSD comes with a sticker which informs us that opening the unit will void the warranty:
The bottom only has the mounting holes:
On the lateral side, we will see the warranty stickers along with a serial number:
Inside the metallic enclosure, we will find the SSD, which is really tiny and occupies only a third of the total available space:
