Giada Mini PC i35G Review

Others/All-in-one PC by stefan @ 2012-09-17

The i35G is a cute and small computer from Giada, that can be used for light Internet browsing, watching movies, or playing old games, this while keeping the power consumption to a low level. The chassis comes with active cooling, and the fan speed is being ramped up depending on the temperatures. A Media Center remote is also included inside the box for added value, along with a HDMI cable and a plastic transparent dock to place the computer into the optimal position.

On the frontal side of the unit, we’ll get to see the Power On/Off button, along with the activity LEDs:

The bottom comes with a sticker containing the product serial number and a small area where the dock would be fixed:

On the top, we have a small cover; the cover comes with inscriptions, detailing what we’ll find underneath if we lift it up:

Here we’ll find a Card Reader (SD/MMC/MS/MS PRO), an USB port, along with the audio jacks:

On the back, we can spot one HDMI port, 4 USB 2.0 ports, a VGA port, the RJ-45 port and the DC-In jack; on the left we have the exhaust grill; the circular sticker placed on the right tells us right away that the unit is not user serviceable and tampering with the sticker will only result in voiding the warranty:

As documentation, we will find a small leaflet containing the remote button functions, a Quick Installation Guide and a DVD with drivers and guides:
