Real Life Test

Setting up the camera

You must use the network cable first before you can use it wirelessly!

Plug in the supply and connect to the power wallet; network cable must go into your router or switch.

Software time

After installing the IP Camera tool you will get your ip number from your network:

And hitting that line will provide you the login as is written in the manual:

Sorry in Dutch :)

Next part is choosing what you want to do next:

For my first quick test i choose the IE Browser:

And here we have the first screen after less then 5 mins. Same picture i created as a snapshot:

A bitt blurry and the colors don't match unfortunately; setting the mode to outdoor and we have some better results:

Time for setting up the antenna and let's work wireless from now on.

Scanning give me all the neighbours wireless routers and my test router. Connecting and putting in the key and we are done. The IP Camera will reboot and from now on it's having another ip address:

Cisco network magic also now sees this device, and after renaming it we are ready:

Let spy on my little girls in the backyard to see if this is working like I want to:

Time to set up a remote like on my Iphone. On the Apple Store we can find ebode IP vision but no way I am buying this for 3,99 Euros, plenty of other fish in sea.

So on to the Google path and in less then one min we found Camviewer for free. More like it and Ebode did mentioned this in the manual; Big + here.

Setting this is really simple task, forward your ports to the ip address from the cam, and login in to your outside ip address.

I this case I did set the iphone on the 3G network and we were done:

Yes this is a old Iphone 3 GS, i know, Waiting for the 5 :)

Verdict time ->
