Audio/Others by stefan @ 2012-06-01

The Vengeance 2000 is another gaming headset from Corsair, this time wireless, with a catchy look and succeeds to deliver good quality sound in the games we play frequently, but not only. The product functionality can be customized by using the supplied driver + application, is able to operate for about 10 hours till the next recharge and can be used even during the charging period. Thanks to the materials used, the headset remains light, which is an important factor when engaging in lengthy gaming sessions.

The cups’ exterior is made of plastic and near the earpads we will find a thin blue line:

The headset cups can be also rotated in both directions:

The microfiber-covered memory foam earpads cover the custom 50mm drivers, with frequency response range between 20Hz and 20kHz, tuned for deep bass, detailed middle tones and clean highs:

Thanks to the metallic volume wheel located on the back of the left cup, we can conveniently change the volume levels, without the need go back to our computer to fiddle with Windows volume control:

Also here we will also find the On/Off button, with a blue LED showing current status under it; the button is made of plastic but thanks to the quality of the build, it imitates brushed aluminium pretty good:

The left cup also contains an integrated high quality condenser microphone; when lifted, the microphone is muted automatically:

The charging port has a LED ring under it, which illuminates depending on the status of the internal battery charge:
