Opposite to the red cable, we can find two jacks where we will connect the rest of the headset cable:

The red wire ends with a proprietary connector, which will be plugged in the decoder box:

The decoder box also has a black/red theme can has the Tritton logo in the center, along with the GOW3 one in the bottom right corner:

This unit can decode Dolby Digital EX/Pro Logic IIx so the respective logos can be also found here:

The frontal part of the unit contains a main volume adjuster which is also a power button, and another small button to its right, for switching between different functionality modes, displayed by the LEDs; also here we can observe the port where we need to insert the supplied headset cable:

On its back we can see the optical interface, along with the USB port:

The bottom of the unit comes with 4 small rubber feet, necessary when the decoder sits horizontally:
