Others/Mice & Keyboards by stefan @ 2011-10-24

The BlackWidow Ultimate Stealth Edition keyboard from RAZER comes with the silent Cherry MX Brown switches, has a matte finish, and all key functions can be reassigned (an exception would be the "Fn" key); also, the keyboard features an anti-ghosting ability, so up to 6 key presses can be registered at once. The keys are backlit individually, with 5 available levels of lighting, that can be set without the need of installing extra software.

Product Features:

Silent mechanical key architecture for superior tactility and faster response

The Razer BlackWidow Ultimate Stealth Edition’s mechanical key architecture provides a distinctive yet silent tactile feedback in form of a light pronounced tap to your fingers giving you an entirely new feel on your gaming keyboard. With an optimized actuation force of 45g and a reduced actuation distance of 2mm, the Razer BlackWidow Ultimate Stealth Edition’s keys allow actuation of your commands faster than any other standard keyboard.

Extreme anti-ghosting for multi-key press destruction

Get the jump, crouch, shot on your enemies or the left turn, brake, nitrous on the track when the Razer BlackWidow Ultimate Stealth Edition provides complete anti-ghosting of up to 6 simultaneous key presses. With the ability to execute more than a single key command at one time, it’s an absolute competitive advantage for taking your game to the next level.

Individually backlit keys with 5 levels of lighting

Never miss a key in the dark with the backlighting on the Razer BlackWidow Ultimate Stealth. With light intensity configurable to your preference, you can launch assaults and flank foes even under low light conditions.

Even though I'm a Razer fan - all my rodents are Razer bred - I'm still going to stick with my Logitech G15V2. Had they put a small display on it I would've bought it though.

Audio connectors would've been better placed on the left side. Also some cable routing for the mouse cable on the underside would have been handy, especially as the USB connector is on the right side.

Agreeing 100% with you regarding the placement of the connectors, already written in the review. Channels for routing the cables underside the keyboard is also a nice idea for a future iteration of the product; multicolored LEDs as we have seen on the Anansi won't hurt either .
