Packaging, A Closer Look

The ADATA S511 SSDs come in 4 different 'flavors': 60GB, 120GB, 240GB and 480GB all designed for the SATA3 interface. The small box in which they are shipped has a small plastic window through which we can see the total capacity of the product, its name, along with some supported features. Also on the frontal side, the free disk migration application that we can use is mentioned, along with the Desktop Pack (3.5'' adapter) icon:

On the back, we can find a small product description in many different languages, along with some performance measurements and the product serial numbers:

After opening up the box, we can find the SSD sitting inside a transparent plastic frame, along with the 3.5'' desktop adapter:

The adapter comes with all the necessary screws inside a plastic bag:

As documentation, we can find a software overview for the Disk Migration Utility:

A quick installation guide is also included in the package:

The SSD has a nice looking brushed aluminum case, with a sticker on the frontal side, which informs us of the total storage capacity:

On one of its sides, we can see the screw holes that can be used when installing the SSD inside a laptop/netbook:

The opposite side is identical, but here we can also see the warranty sticker. The sticker also covers one of the screws on the back and if it is damaged, the warranty will be void:
