The new Supersonic Xpress USB 3.0 Flash Drive comes with a stylish exterior which works like a pen for revealing the connector. The product features very good write speeds and decent read transfer speeds compared to the previously tested drives and the 16GB variant can be found in stores for about 19 Euros.

Packaging, A Closer Look

The new Supersonic Xpress USB 3.0 Flash Drive from Patriot is shipped inside blister packaging, as the previous drive reviewed before it; the product can be seen through the clear plastic and on the frontal side we can also see the total capacity, along with the expected read/write speeds:




The back reveals some more product specifications, along with a chart comparing speed differences between USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 speeds:




The new Supersonic Xpress has a modern look, combining white and dark blue colors; on the frontal side we can see the product name along with the total capacity:




When flipped, we can find the brand name logo:




The body of the drive is also provided with a hole for inserting a lanyard:




While looking from the other side, we can find the hidden USB 3.0 connector:




For getting the drive ready for usage, we have to press the blue part against the white plastic cover, to reveal the USB connector; when the connector is fully ejected, we will hear a small “click”:
