RAZER Onza Tournament Edition Professional Gaming Controller Review

Others/Miscelleneous by stefan @ 2011-05-17

Onza Tournament Edition from RAZER is an XBOX 360 controller which brings some benefits over the standard controller, like analog sticks with adjustable tension, face buttons with blacklight, extra programmable buttons or longer triggers; also, the rubberized non-slip surface comes only with the Tournament Edition version.

A Closer Look Part III

On the same side with the face buttons, we can find a nice Razer logo imprinted:

In the back, we can find the left/right bumper buttons, the additional left/right programmable buttons and the left/right trigger buttons:

On the bottom, we can see that the controller is built ergonomically to fit our hands and in the center we can find another special feature (the ability to program the extra two bumper buttons):

For remapping, we have two buttons available; we only have to press the “Remap left/right” button, the current assignment will be lit in the central display, and then we must press the other button on the controller we want to assign the function from:

As it was mentioned before, the cable is very long and braided for extra durability; the easy release mechanism is also present, to make sure that if someone trips over the cable, our XBOX 360 won't fall off the table:

The cable ends up with an usual USB 2.0 connector:

The extra lighting for the face buttons when the controller is on gives it a nicer look when gaming:
