The Filco Majestouch Linear R Limited Edition keyboard is a product to consider when doing lots of gaming, but also typing activities, it is Tenkeyless so it takes very little space on the table and comes with the rare Cherry MX Red switches.

Packaging, A Closer Look Part I

The Filco Majestouch-2 Tenkeyless NKR ASCII with Red Switch from Diatec is packed inside an all black cardboard box with a very clean design and the product name on the frontal side:

 

 

 

On the same side we can also discover that his product is fully compatible with the Windows 7 Operating System:

 

 

 

Some of the product specifications are listed on one of the sides, along with the product code name:

 

 

 

On the back, we are informed that this product comes with Cherry MX (Red Switches), and we can see some photos of the included accessories:

 

 

 

After lifting the top cover, we can discover the motherboard, with an User Guide and some of its bundle:

 

 

 

The keyboard comes with a transparent protective plastic mold on it, which prevents dust accumulation:

 

 

 

Thanks to the missing number pad, the keyboard is more compact; some of the components like the LEDs or the logos had to be repositioned:

The Caps Lock and Scroll Lock can be now found between the Print/Scroll/Pause keys and Insert/Home/Page Up:

Hmmm, not really, this is how the mechanical keyboards weight; the previously tested keyboard with Brown switches (full sized) had a weight of 1.2Kg

Oh, sorry! Regarding the price, yes, you may be right. Guess it's because of the rare Cherry MX Red switches.
