The iP3 Audio System from iHome is a fully featured iPod/iPhone dock, that does not need extra plastic inserts and shares a lot of features with the more expensive model, the iP1, like the Line in jack for connecting external sound sources, Component Video out connectors or the Bongiovi DPS Acoustics.
The iHome iP3 dock from iHome is another product from their Studio Series, with Bongiovi DPS Acoustics enhancement; on the front of the box we can find a photo of the product in operation, along with some logos:
On the top right corner, we can find the “Best of Show 2010” award logo from iLounge.com:
The presence of the Bongiovi DPS is signaled by the inclusion if its logo in the bottom left corner:
On one of the box sides, we can see an example regarding where the product could be installed:
The opposite side shows some photos of the product highlights:
Also on the box, we can see some of the features explained, in multiple languages:
Both box sides come fully sealed, for extra security and protection:
The internal box holds the rest of the components (we can see a lot of packaging similarities to the iP1):
After we remove the top of the box, we can discover the iP3 inside:
The bundle is held inside a smaller cardboard box with the iHome logo on top, but also in a small plastic bag:
