The G2 Series memory modules from Patriot Memory come with low profile heatsinks, so they won't interfere if we want to install large and high performance air coolers.
In terms of performance they can be also overclocked a little by reaching 1866MHz at the 9-10-9-24 timings, fully stable. Also, it is impressive that they can be ran at much lower voltages: they are rated 1.65V but are stable at the stock speed at 1.5V, and the 1866MHz overclocked speed needs only a very small voltage bump, at 1.515V; of course, these small details can differ from one platform to another, depending on the quality of the memory chips, but also the IMC.
These modules are priced decently considering their overclocked performance and rated speed, they can be found in shops for about 41 Euros.
I would like to thank again to Patriot Memory for offering me these samples for review!
