Since the installation will be performed on a LGA1156 socket system, we will pick up the appropriate backplate, for the Intel systems, which also has a small sticker glued to it, telling us to attach square spacer (included as an accessory) in the middle, in case we are using a LGA775 platform; the backplate has holes drilled for 3 separate sockets: LGA775, LGA1156/LGA1155, LGA1366:
With the help of the O-rings, we can keep the rivet nuts fixed on the backplate:
After the backplate has been placed on the back of the motherboard, we can check to see if the rivet nuts have passed through the mounting holes:
The next step would be to pick up the double end studs with nuts, and install them:
