After a first successful outing of the Hardware.Info Pro OC team, it was time to head to a new location. Bundling forces with Gigabyte, Intel and the CDRomLand store the stage was set for another OC workshop. Since the Hardware.Info team is involved in HWBOT's Pro OC Cup some scores had to be improved to remain within the top 10. A tedious task as overclocking with a curious crowd, constantly asking questions, adds up to the challenge. Time to head over to the lovely city of Breda to the CDRomLand shop. read more

Inside the bays we can use both 2.5’’ (HDD/SSD) and 3.5’’ drives (screwless installation). X7S is one of the latest smartphones from iOCEAN, featuring the latest MediaTek MT6592 1.7GHz 8-core SoC, which is paired with 2GB of RAM. The 4-core GPU part is clocked at 700MHz (Mali-450 MP4) for offering good performances in 3D applications and for videos we have H.265 video decoding support along with the ClearMotion intelligent video frequency-doubling technology. The 13MP camera in the back provides us with good quality photos while the 2000mAH battery should last us from one day to a day and a half depending on the usage type. read more

Thanks to the extra clearance the Vengeance LP memory kits offer, we are able to mount even bigger CPU heatsinks or accommodate them inside cases with cramped space. The modules have different colors depending on their technical specifications and as far as we have seen the stock speed can be raised a bit more in order to benefit from more bandwidth. read more
