KingFast 256GB F9 SSD Review

Storage/SSD by stefan @ 2015-10-05 read/post comments()

The F9 256GB is another low-cost SSD product from KingFast, which pairs the Silicon Motion SM2246EN controller with Micron NAND MT29E1T08CUCBBH8-10:B and the cache is assured by the Samsung K4W2G1646E-BC11 DDR3 RAM (256MB). This model is able to follow the read performances of the Crucial BX100 250GB we have reviewed earlier, but falls behind in terms of writes. read more

Corsair VOID Wireless Dolby 7.1 Gaming Headset Review

Audio/Others by stefan @ 2015-09-30 read/post comments()

With the VOID Wireless, we are getting quite a bit of improvements regarding product comfort, LED lighting system and software configuration. Corsair has added the RGB system for extra eye candy, but we have found more useful the two LEDs near the MIC which light up in order to signal different product statuses. The two 50mm drivers are able to deliver good gaming-grade quality sound and we found the microphone fidelity about the same as on the Vengeance 2100 and this is not a bad thing since that one impressed us positively too. read more

ROCCAT Nyth Gaming Mouse Review

Others/Mice & Keyboards by stefan @ 2015-09-29 read/post comments()

ROCCAT Nyth is like a breath of fresh air in the already crowded gaming mice market which sports quite a modular design with replaceable right side panel, no less than four different sets of buttons, a smooth durable plastic texture, catchy LED light effects and a comfortable shape for lengthy gaming sessions. Considering that we are getting plenty of accessories, ROCCAT saw fit to also include a carry case and the software available for the Nyth is one of the most advanced we have seen to date, which maintains the feature we did like in the previous revisions, the audio feedback. read more

MEIZU M2 Note 4G LTE Smartphone Review

Mobile/Smart Phones by stefan @ 2015-09-21 read/post comments()

The mainstream offering from Meizu has impressed us plenty as the MX4 did in the past; despite the low cost price ($159.59 at GearBest at the current time of review), we are offered a very good 4G smartphone with dual-nanoSIM capabilities, a sleek rounded polycarbonate body, small screen bezels for keeping the size to a minimum, a dual function Home button, good quality cameras, a mainstream 64-bit octa-core SoC from MTK and a potent battery for more than enough standby times. read more
