Construction : This lightweight uses a perfectly mirror copper base joined by heatpipes with a lot of thin aluminium fins on the opposite end.       Click for bigger picture ... Installation : While you might think the amount of parts resemble a jig saw puzzle, the step by step installation was done in just a couple of minutes. After peeling of the protective film from the heatsink base, you need to assmble the hold down bracket. Then you need to prepare the back mounting plate. After that you just sandwich the mainboard in-between all the parts you have put together. A little and cute tool is supplied, but it's far from handy... Previous models of Scythe coolers suffered from using something stronger than sticky back plate. Removal was very difficult. They changed that.
