Sunbeamtech 3D Storm ATX Case Review
Sunbeamtech 3D Storm ATX Case Review
This new case from Sunbeamtech features three 120mm fans to cool down the hardware nested inside, we stress test the enclosure with a high end VGA card as well as a mid-range one to see if their new 3D core-fan can deliver on its promise.

  Introduction

Sunbeamtech has been expanding their product line-up ever since they first appeared on the market 3 years ago. They are also responsible for the widely know high end CPU cooler, Tuniq Tower 120. Their ATX case series have undergone different variations in features and design. While their earlier attempts had fancy plastic front panels (like this Transformers Case) their newer cases feature more modest designs. Doing away with the fancy front bezels and going for the classy look. The latest addition follows this trend. The 3D Storm has a sober front panel and comes with excellent cooling features, at least on paper, coming with no less than 3x120mm fan inside.

The 3D Storm product name is chosen randomly, the case features the successor the “3D Core-Fan” first found in the Quaterback that we reviewed here, the Storm expands the mod-ability of the fans and comes with 2x120mm installed by default, right in the middle of the case, not on the side panel either.

Looking at the 3D Storm from the outside doesn’t tell you much about its features, the front panel has a honey grate design with front I/O ports and Sunbeamtech logo.

Our sample came with a solid side panel, one with a window is available too. The colors are either completely black or silver/black as seen here.

Let’s take a closer look at the 3D Storm ->
