Any hardware enthusiast looking for silent CPU cooling solutions must have heard of the name Scythe by now. Their product line-up is focused on providing the best in class heatsinks combining large surface area with lots of heat pipes and slow spinning fans. Their Ninja CPU cooler was immensely popular for being able to deliver whisper quiet cooling for even the hottest of CPUs. Today we are testing a new addition to the Scythe product family, the Zipang. This is not a tower cooler like their previous products and actually focuses on providing very silent cooling for smaller PC cases as the total height is only 112mm (vs 150mm for the Ninja). Specifications & In the Box The Zipang is top-down CPU cooler design equipped with a very large fan, close to 140mm in size. 
Inside the package you’ll find the mounting bracket for the different platforms, a manual and small plastic bag with thermal paste.  The included fan has sleeve bearing and at a rated speed for 1000rpm it will be very quiet as its size is considerably larger than a standard 120mm fan.
