We tested the original OCZ Vendetta last year, it was a compact tower heatsink with 92mm fan, its most striking feature being the direct contact of the 3 heat pipes with the CPU. Today we test the Vendetta 2 from OCZ, it also features the same direct-heatpipe-touch approach but the heatsink is much larger and equipped with a 120mm fan this time around. Time to find out how much a difference the extra aluminium and copper really makes, and if the larger cooling fan offers a better performance/noise ratio. Specifications & In the Box The Vendetta 2 is very similar to the Vendetta (1), they both share the same package design and package contents; 
Inside the package you’ll find an instruction manual for both AMD and Intel platforms, a small plastic bag of thermal paste, mounting hardware for the heatsink and the fan.  The included fan is a re-badged unit, the product name reveals the original manufacturer as Arctic-Cooling AF12025 PWM, this is a popular fan as the Xigmatek HDT-S1283 also uses this fan, this should come as no surprise as they share the same original design.
