Microcool T441/T412 Thermal Pads and Chip Protectors Review
Microcool T441/T412 Thermal Pads and Chip Protectors Review
Upgrading your cooling is not always the success you hoped for: thermal pads with bad adhesive, weird mounting mechanisms, or even worse a crushed processor core! All those things might sound as familiar for you as it is for me, luckily Microcool has the answer, I take a look at their Thermattach T411 & T412 thermal pads and core protective rubbers.

  Introduction

Madshrimps (c)

Microcool was founded in 2003 and specializes in designing and developing component heat control products for computers. It made its debut on the international market with the first high-performance Northbridge cooler named NorthPole which has now evolved to the 2nd generation NorthPole XE Whisper: better cooling capability's and support for low TDP rated CPU's like Intel's Pentium M. In our current article we will focus on their Thermattach T411 & T412 thermal pads, and their core protective rubbers, here is a small overview of each sample:

Madshrimps (c)
Chomerics Thermattach® T411 and T412 thermally conductive tapes are an ideal solution for fixing aluminium or copper coolers without having to use permanent adhesive pastes or mechanical hooks.
Madshrimps (c)
The core protective rubbers are small expanding rubber frames that enable the correct installation of air or water coolers on all chips that are without protective packaging and are therefore extremely fragile.

It just happened that I recently purchased some computer parts to do some benchmarking with, the products mentioned above could come in very handy. Read on to find out how you can improve your machine by using Microcool products ->
