What does playing Golf and spinning Case fans have in common? More than you might think according to Sharkoon. Their latest case fan has blades which look just like a golf ball and promise to offer more air movement at lower noise levels. Let?s see if this is true.

  Today we have a short and sweet review for you. Sharkoon’s latest case fan, the Silent Eagle, promises better airflow at lower noise levels.

The pattern design on the fan blades resembles that of a golf ball:

The Silent Eagle comes in two flavors, the “1000” and “2000” model;

There is no information on the package which says how far away the 9 and 18dBA readings were taken, but since I haven't found a room yet where the dBA meter registers <30dBA levels, I think we'll see some different read-outs in our tests.

There is no visual difference between the two models:

The package contains rubber mounting gear, screws and a 4 to 3 pin converter. The power cable is sleeved.
