If someone is looking for a high quality power supply, then the Antec PSU series will be no doubt be present on his shortlist. No matter if you want to power a small system or a fully loaded workstation, Antec has the required product for you. Today we are taking a look at their high end 550W TrueControl power supply which is aimed at the hardware enthusiast and overclocker out there.

This PSU stands out by its ability to change the +3.3/5/12v lines by means of a separate 5”25 control panel. The control panel also allows you to control the speed of the 2x 80mm in the PSU, as well as fans who are connected to a couple of special power connectors.

Specs

The specifications of this PSU are amongst the highest of PSU currently available on the market. If you are building a computer with high end components you want to make sure that all those goodies get enough juice, by overclocking your CPU and video card you will be further stressing the power supply and the +5 / +12 lines will be under heavy load. This PSU seems has what it takes to make any system run stable.
